"Today was his first full session since coming back from injury so I'm really pleased about that but he's obviously a long way away from being ready to play in the Premier League. He will need time. He is one who, during the international break, we will try to top up. I wouldn't have thought there is any chance (of him playing) before then," manager Alan Irvine told the official club website.
James McArthur (M)  Crystal Palace
McArthur (thigh) has a good chance of making Monday's game against Sunderland. "I thought he might be a couple of weeks but I wouldn't write him off for Sunderland. He always wants to play. He wanted to stay on when he got his injury," manager Neil Warnock told the South London Press.
Scott Dann (D)  Crystal Palace
Dann (knee) will decide over the weekend if he is fit enough for Monday's clash with Sunderland. ďI donít think Iím completely ruled out for Monday but I wouldnít like to say Iíll be fit and then I donít play, itís taking it day by day. Iíll know at the weekend if Iíll be ready or not. Itís only been around three weeks, and after just one I was able to run so I have kept my fitness up really well. I havenít lost any fitness work," Dann told the Croydon Advertiser.

Costa (hamstring) will be in the squad for Chelsea's Premier League match against QPR on Saturday, manager Jose Mourinho confirmed Friday.
Papiss Cisse (F)  Newcastle United
Cisse, who has missed the last two games due to a knee injury, will have a late fitness test ahead of Saturday's Premier League match against Liverpool, manager Alan Pardew said Friday. "The only slight issue I have is with Papiss Cisse and is he going to be fit," he said. "We are in a very similar position to where we were at Tottenham (last weekend), so we will have to wait and see."

Manager Louis van Gaal confirmed Friday that Rooney (foot) is fit to face Manchester City on Sunday.
